Space 2.0

The original Space collection was only ever available as a limited edition, and mainly through Paul Smith in Japan. It was never given the prominence it deserved due to the whirlwind of catwalk projects I was involved with at the time. The time never seemed right to re-investigate the origins of this collection until recently.

Time has allowed me to kick back and re-engage with my childish love of Buck Rodgers/ Forbidden Planet 50’s Sci-Fi and breathe a bit of new life into the original pieces and add some new hardware to Space. Every time I hear Science Fiction from The Rocky Horror Picture Show I relive those B picture moments.

It’s all in keeping with the naivety of that era of science fiction, and I know it will find favour with those of you who have been demanding a re-release of this popular yet scarce collection.
